Ayala Malls Vertis North Earns PAWS’ First Certified Pet-Friendly Seal

Ayala Malls Vertis North has received the first-ever Certified Pet-Friendly seal from the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), a meaningful recognition of its dedication to creating safe, inclusive spaces for people and their beloved companion animals.

The seal was unveiled on September 22in a heartfelt ceremony led by Ayala Corporation Vice Chairman Fernando Zobel de Ayala and PAWS Executive Director Atty. Anna Cabrera, celebrating a shared commitmentto animal welfare and community care. This certification reflects Ayala Malls’ dedication to creating spaces where all pets are treated with kindness and respect.

The reality is, our country faces many challenges with abandoned dogs and cats, but we’re committed to doing our part. In addition to the mall-wide recognition, 19 food establishments within Ayala Malls Vertis North were also awarded the Certified Pet-Friendly Seal, further reinforcing the mall’s commitment to welcoming pet families.

Ayala Malls Vertis North is also a proud partner of KabaliCAT, supporting PAWS’ Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program for community cats. Through this collaboration, the mall not only provides pet-friendly spaces but also contributes to humane and sustainable population management of stray animals.
