Ayala Land Chosen as Harvard Business School FIELD Global Capstone Partner
May 26, 2025
Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) recently welcomed a team of Harvard Business School (HBS) students to Makati for a week-long collaboration under the prestigious FIELD Global Capstone program. As one of only 156 project partners selected worldwide—alongside Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), the banking arm of the Ayala Group—ALI joined a global network spanning 14 cities and countries, collectively hosting over 900 HBS students. The engagement underscores ALI’s commitment to fostering global learning and innovation through strategic partnerships with top academic institutions.
“It’s an honor to be among Harvard’s FIELD Global Capstone partners and offer students a real-world view of innovation in the Philippines. This collaboration allows us to showcase how we innovate, adapt to trends, and prioritize the customer while driving business growth,” said Clarisse Feria-Darre, Project Development Group Head, Premium Residential Business Group (RBG), Ayala Land, Inc. “Engaging with
future global leaders enriches our perspective and strengthens our commitment to shaping purposeful, evolving communities.”
The FIELD Global Capstone is a course designed to strengthen and develop students’ ability to manage and operate effectively in a variety of business contexts. In the months leading up to their arrival, ALI executives engaged closely with the leadership team through remote collaboration. During their intensive week in Makati, the students pitched bold ideas to ALI’s leadership, conducted in-depth consumer research across the city, and delivered final strategic recommendations to management.
This prestigious program offers one of the most comprehensive real-world learning experiences in global business education. It challenges students not only to deliver tangible value in an unfamiliar setting but also to develop exceptional contextual intelligence and team effectiveness—hallmarks of future global leaders.
Harvard is quick to acknowledge that this important learning experience would not be possible without Project Partners. “We are extremely grateful to Ayala Land and all the FIELD Global Capstone Project Partner organizations for all they do on behalf of our students,” said Professor Joe Fuller, Faculty Chair for the FIELD Global Capstone. “The students benefit immeasurably from this experience, and we hope
the partner organizations do as well.”
