Ayala Land Appoints Jose Eduardo A. Quimpo II as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer

Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) today announced the appointment of Jose Eduardo A. Quimpo II as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer, effective August 19, 2025.
Quimpo brings extensive experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and risk management, having served in leadership roles across the Ayala Land Group and in the banking industry. Most recently, he was President and CEO of AREIT, where he led the company through a period of growth and diversification. He has also held leadership posts within Ayala Land since May 2024, including as CFO of the Leasing & Hospitality Group, Chief Risk Officer, and Head for Corporate Finance, Strategy and Investor Relations.
Before joining Ayala, Quimpo held senior positions in the banking industry. At BDO, including President of BDO Securities, Chief Operating Officer of BDO Capital, and Senior Vice President of BDO Private Bank and in BPI as BPI Capital Director – Head of Execution. He holds a Management Engineering degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.
As CFO, Quimpo will lead Ayala Land’s financial strategy, capital markets activity, risk management, and investor engagement. He is expected to help drive the company’s disciplined financial execution and support sustainable growth across its diverse real estate portfolio. His appointment reflects Ayala Land’s continued focus on financial discipline, leadership development, and long-term value creation.
He succeeds 21-year ALI veteran Augusto D. Bengzon, whose 8-year tenure as CFO shaped ALI’s strong capital position, broadened and diversified its portfolio across multiple real estate asset classes, and award-winning Investor Relations, Corporate Governance,and Corporate Treasury programs. Bengzon is credited for multiple firsts in ALI’s history such as the first corporate bond in the Philippines, the first REIT, and the first Sustainability-Linked Financing. His leadership earned ALI multiple accolades for financial excellence and governance. He was also recognized as Asia's Best CFO by Corporate Treasurer Awards and ING-Finex CFO of the Year both in 2019. More recently, he was named Best CFO for Southeast Asia by FinanceAsia.
Bengzon will remain part of the Ayala Land Group’s leadership team as a member of the Management Committee and a Director in its various subsidiaries, including our publicly listed companies AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) and AvalandBerhad in Malaysia. This transition reflects ALI’s deliberate succession strategy—strengthening its financial leadership bench, reinforcing market stability, and positioning the company to build on its growth momentum.
