A Breathing Space Amidst the Hustle and Bustle of Metropolitan Manila

An iconic Makati spot for all things arts and culture houses ethnographic and archaeological exhibits on Filipino culture, art and history. It is also the go-to venue for exciting events such as concerts and art workshops. Currently undergoing a major renovation, the museum is slated to open its doors once again in 2022.

Ayala Museum houses rare artifacts from Philippine history and boasts an impressive collection of other Asian mementos. The museum also hosts travelling exhibits that puts a spotlight on Asian anthropology and art.

Street Art and Murals

Every which way you look, there’s beautiful art that greets you in the City That Makes It All Happen. Take a selfie or two by the street art found on the Dela Rosa Walkway. Look up the ceilings of the city’s underpasses and you’ll find breathtaking wraparound murals such as the 2,000-square-foot collage by Archie Geotina on the Salcedo Underpass.

Circuit Makati’s Symphony Drive explodes with the day-glo colors of mural artist Nini Sacro. As an inititaive of the #PaintItForward movement, the hand-painted walls were made by the renowned artist with the help of volunteers from Barangay Carmona community.
